Scions Rise is the official mentorship program of Scions Scholars, created to connect girls and young women with accomplished, compassionate mentors who are committed to helping them navigate life's opportunities and challenges.
Our goal is to empower the next generation through meaningful relationships that foster confidence, leadership, academic excellence, personal development, and purpose.
We believe that every girl deserves someone who believes in her potential, challenges her to grow, and walks alongside her as she discovers who she is and who she is becoming.
Whether you are looking to give back as a mentor or seeking guidance as a mentee, Scions Rise provides a supportive community where growth begins with connection.
PROGRAM OVERVIEW
Scions Rise is a structured mentorship program conducted through seasonal cohorts. Each cohort brings together mentors and mentees for an immersive experience centered on intentional growth, accountability, and encouragement.

Participants are thoughtfully matched based on shared interests, aspirations, educational and career goals, and life experiences to cultivate meaningful mentor-mentee relationships.

Throughout the program, participants engage in regular conversations, guided activities, personal development exercises, and milestone reflections designed to encourage continuous growth.
HOW THE PROGRAM WORKS

APPLY
Interested mentors and mentees submit their applications through the appropriate application page.

APPLICATION REVIEW
Applications are reviewed to determine eligibility, program readiness, and alignment with the goals of Scions Rise.

MENTOR INTERVIEW & TRAINING
Selected mentors complete a required 15 minute interview, and if selected, a two-day training to prepare them for their role and program expectations.

MATCHING
Mentees are matched with mentors based on goals, interests, life direction, and available mentor capacity.

MENTORSHIP BEGINS
Mentors and mentees begin their cohort journey through consistent communication, goal-setting, encouragement, and guided mentorship.

PROGRAM COST
Scions Rise is a FREE mentorship program for mentees.

Mentors serve in a volunteer capacity and are NOT financially compensated. This program is built for individuals who are passionate about empowering young ladies and making a meaningful impact.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
HOW LONG IS EACH COHORT?
Each cohort runs for approximately 11 – 12 weeks.
IS THE PROGRAM VIRTUAL OR IN PERSON?
At this time, Scions Rise is conducted virtually, allowing mentors and mentees to connect regardless of their geographic location. Mentorship sessions take place through scheduled video meetings and other approved communication platforms, making the program accessible to participants across different cities and regions.
As the program continues to grow, Scion of Tabitha hopes to introduce in-person and hybrid mentorship opportunities where feasible.
CAN I PARTICIPATE IN MULTIPLE COHORTS?
Yes. Returning mentees and mentors are welcome to apply for future cohorts, subject to availability and program needs.
IS ACCEPTANCE GUARANTEED?
No. Because we prioritize quality mentor-mentee matches, acceptance depends on application review, mentor availability, and program capacity.
